Supported File Types

 

The following file types are supported in SLATE:

 File Extension 
 Web Document   HTM, HTML, MHT, MHTML
 Text Document   RTF, PPT, PDF, DOC, XLS, TXT, WPD
 Image  JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF
 Media   SWF, MPG, MPEG, RM, MP3, AVI, WAV, RAM, ASF, MOV, RA

 

 

Unsupported File Types

 

The following file types are not supported in SLATE:

 

 ASP  ASHX   JL  VB
 ASPX  ASMX  LICX  VBPROJ
 EXE  AXD  REM  VJSPROJ
 BAT  CDX  RESOURCES  VSDISCO
 DLL  CER  RESX  WEBINFO
 COM  CONFIG  SHTM  INI
 ASA  IDC  SHTML
 ASAX  CS  SOAP
 ASCX  CSPROJ  STM

 

NOTE: Although certain file extensions are supported in SLATE they may download to the user’s browser rather then open inside of the content viewer.

    PowerPoint presentations do not show as ppt, but as text (and not well formatted). Is there a way to post the ppt presentations that can be viewed online?
