{"id":27340,"date":"2026-01-23T15:51:32","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T15:51:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/digital-learning-support-hub\/?p=27340"},"modified":"2026-01-23T16:36:25","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T16:36:25","slug":"copyleaks-submit-assignment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/digital-learning-support-hub\/copyleaks-submit-assignment\/","title":{"rendered":"Copyleaks: Submit Assignment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Looking for step-by-step instructions?<\/strong>\u00a0You\u2019ll find them below.\u00a0<strong>Prefer to watch a video instead?<\/strong>\u00a0We\u2019ve created a video tutorial on\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Ta3Fr9hMFDU\" target=\"_blank\">submitting a paper to an Assignment Folder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1>How to Submit Your Assignment<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<h3>Step 1: Find the Assignment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Log in to <strong>SLATE<\/strong> and open your course.<\/li><li>Go to <strong>Assessments &gt; Assignments<\/strong>, or click the assignment link in the <strong>Content<\/strong> module.<\/li><li>Select the correct <strong>Assignment Folder<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3>Step 2: Upload Your Paper<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Click <strong>Add a File<\/strong> and upload your paper from your computer.<\/li><li><strong>Important:<\/strong> If this is your first time submitting an assignment that uses <strong>Copyleaks<\/strong>, you\u2019ll be asked to accept the <strong>End User License Agreement (EULA)<\/strong>.<ul><li>You must accept the agreement for your paper to be scanned and for a report to be generated.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Add comments if needed, then click <strong>Submit<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3>Step 3: Confirm and View Your Results<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Look for the message <strong>\u201cFile Submission Successful\u201d<\/strong> to confirm your upload.<\/li><li>Allow a few minutes for the Copyleaks report to generate.<\/li><li>Under <strong>Completion Status<\/strong>, click your submission to see your similarity score.<\/li><li>Select <strong>View &gt; Details<\/strong> to open the full Copyleaks report in a new tab.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3>Important Notes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Practice Submissions:<\/strong> Some courses include a <strong>Self-Check<\/strong> folder where you can review your work before submitting the final version. Papers submitted there are usually <strong>not stored<\/strong> in the Copyleaks database.<\/li><li><strong>Common Issue:<\/strong> If you submit your assignment <strong>without accepting the EULA<\/strong>, your paper will <strong>not be scanned<\/strong>.
