For example, a discussion forum can be hidden from students until they complete a quiz and score above a certain grade.<\/p>\n<h1>Accessing Release Conditions<\/h1>\n<p>Release Conditions are accessible through the Restrictions tab in most tools. In the Content tool, release conditions can be found by editing the properties of a file in place and selecting Add dates and Restrictions:<\/p>\n<p>For <strong>Assignments, Quizzes, <strong>Co<\/strong><strong>ndition Type<\/strong>\u00a0 (eg. &#8220;Score on a Quiz&#8221;) from the drop-down menu.<\/li>\n<li>In the <strong>C<\/strong><b>ondition Details<\/b> menu, select \u00a0the specific course item relevant to the restriction, specify the criteria and score and click <strong>C<\/strong><strong>reate<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" to be accessible to users.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Save and Close.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h1>Attaching an Existing Release Condition<\/h1>\n<p>You can use a previously created release condition for another course item.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the\u00a0<strong>Restrictions<\/strong> tab, under <strong>Release Conditions,\u00a0<\/strong>click on &#8220;Attach Existing&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Specify the tool where the restriction is located eg. quizzes<\/li>\n<li>Select the specific restriction that was created previously<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Attach<\/strong> to set the restriction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Removing Release Conditions<\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-19521
