Quizzes can include a variety of question types, support automatic grading, and provide flexible options for timing, availability, attempts, feedback, and results display. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Using Quizzes in SLATE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Quizzes can be used to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Assess student understanding with automatically graded questions.<\/li><li>Create formative practice quizzes and self-check activities.<\/li><li>Set time limits and availability dates.<\/li><li>Allow one or multiple attempts.<\/li><li>Provide automated feedback and customized results displays.<\/li><li>Randomize questions and answers to support academic integrity. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>Quiz Features<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The SLATE Quiz tool includes options to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Add a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/community.d2l.com\/brightspace\/kb\/articles\/19160-manage-quiz-questions\" target=\"_blank\">variety of question types<\/a>.<\/li><li>Create question pools that randomly select questions for each learner.<\/li><li>Shuffle questions and answer choices.<\/li><li>Grant special access accommodations for specific learners.<\/li><li>Link quizzes to the course grade book.<\/li><li>Review quiz attempts and evaluate learner performance.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4>Learn More<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For detailed instructions on creating, configuring, and managing quizzes in SLATE, including quiz settings, question creation, timing options, special access, attempts, evaluation, and feedback, see:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/community.d2l.com\/brightspace\/kb\/articles\/3413-create-and-configure-a-quiz\" target=\"_blank\">Create and Configure a Quiz<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><strong>Tip:<\/strong> To enhance quiz security and provide each learner with a unique experience, consider using question pools and question randomization.
