Click the drop-down arrow and choose <strong>Evaluate Submissions<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Under the Folder Contents heading, click on the <strong>Evaluate<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>link\u00a0beside the student&#8217;s name<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>From the drop-down arrow beside the file name, there are two options:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>View Document:\u00a0<\/strong>Opens the document inside of SLATE allowing you to preview the document on the left while entering grades and feedback on the right.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Download:\u00a0<\/strong>Will download a copy of the student&#8217;s submission to your local computer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Enter the student&#8217;s score<\/li>\n<li>Provide comments and suggestions in the <strong>Feedback<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add a File<\/strong> or <strong>Record Audio\u00a0<\/strong>as feedback.<\/li>\n<li>When you are finished leaving feedback and entering grades you can select\u00a0<strong>Publish\u00a0<\/strong> or\u00a0<strong>Save Draft.<\/strong> You can then view the next submission by clicking\u00a0<strong>Next Student\u00a0<\/strong>in the top right corner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Assignments - Grade Submissions in Assignments - Instructor\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nsy7XBV_BZ8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>TIP: \u00a0<\/strong>We recommend saving all feedback and grades as a draft and publishing them once you have completed marking for all submissions in the assignment (dropbox) folder. \u00a0To save as a draft click\u00a0<strong>Save Draft.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>When you are ready to publish all feedback return to the assignment (dropbox) submission page.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select all submissions by selecting the box at the top of the list beside the link that says download.<\/li>\n<li>Select\u00a0<strong>Publish Feedback<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Grading Using Assignments Click Assessments and then\u00a0Assignment on the course navbar.
