When you collapse&nbsp;<b>Expand Availability Dates &amp; Conditions<\/b>, the summary text displays the selected start and end date information. The default time for an assignment Start Date is set to 12:00 AM. The default End Date time is set to 11:59 PM.<\/p>\n<h1 data-id=\"create-a-new-release-condition-for-your-assignment\">Create a new release condition for your assignment<\/h1>\n<p>You can add release conditions to your assignment. Release conditions are conditions that must be met for an assignment to be made visible to learners. On the&nbsp;<b>Assignments<\/b>&nbsp;page, click&nbsp;<b>Edit Categories<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Select a&nbsp;<b>Submission Type<\/b>:\n<ul>\n<li>For&nbsp;<b>File Submissions<\/b>, set the number of&nbsp;<b>Files Allowed Per Submission<\/b>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<b>Submissions<\/b>&nbsp;rules.<\/li>\n<li>For&nbsp;<b>Text submissions<\/b>, set the&nbsp;<b>Submission<\/b>&nbsp;rules.<\/li>\n<li>For&nbsp;<b>On paper submissions<\/b>, set&nbsp;<b>Marked as completed<\/b>&nbsp;to one of the available options:&nbsp;<b>Manually by learners<\/b>,&nbsp;<b>Automatically on evaluation<\/b>, or&nbsp;<b>Automatically on due date<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>For&nbsp;<b>Observed in person<\/b>&nbsp;assignments, set&nbsp;<b>Marked as completed<\/b>&nbsp;to one of the available options:&nbsp;<b>Manually by learners<\/b>,&nbsp;<b>Automatically on evaluation<\/b>, or&nbsp;<b>Automatically on due date<\/b>.<br><b>Note<\/b>: When you collapse&nbsp;<b>Submission &amp;
