The following instructions assume that you have already created your virtual community; if not, please follow these <a title=\"instructions\" href=\"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/digital-learning-support-hub\/creating-a-virtual-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">instructions<\/a> to add your virtual community. Once your virtual community is built, you can continue your automatic bulk enrolment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>From the SLATE Homepage, click <strong>Self-Service.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A new window will open.<\/li>\n<li>On the left side menu, choose<strong>\u00a0Virtual Community.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Locate the name of the virtual community you want to enable bulk enrolments. Click <strong>Options&gt;Enroll Students.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A new window will open: Virtual Community Bulk Enrollment.<\/li>\n<li>Choose an enrolment option; you can either choose to locate the students by program or by course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Search by Program<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the term<\/li>\n<li>Enter the program code (Example PBACC)<\/li>\n<li>Choose the level (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Specify campus (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Get List<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Search by Course<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select the term<\/li>\n<li>Enter the subject (Example: MGMT)<\/li>\n<li>Enter the catalogue number (Example: 70003)<\/li>\n<li>Enter the class number, if you have it (optional)<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Get List<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Bulk Enrolment Instructions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Once the class list has been generated, click the check box for each name you want enrolled in the virtual community.<\/li>\n<li>Check the <strong>Select All<\/strong> radio button if you prefer to enroll all students on this list.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Enrol, <\/strong>located at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n<li>You will get a pop-up window advising that you are about to enrol X number of people into your Virtual Community. Are you sure you want to do this? If you are ready, click <strong>Submit.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Enrolling the students might take a few minutes. You will see a status bar showing how many enrolments are being processed when you see 100%. All students have been enrolled.<\/li>\n<li>When the enrolment is complete, you will see how many students were enrolled successfully and if any of the enrolments failed. If you see any that have failed, please <strong>Click Here to the View Report<\/strong> dropdown, and you will see a message regarding the failed enrolment(s). This will give you enough information to know what you should do next.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-11520\" src=\"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/learning-technology-portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/04\/vc6-300x173.png\" alt=\"vc6\" width=\"300\" height=\"173\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you need to update your virtual community class list anytime with new enrolments.
