Should you permit students to take their exams using one of these devices, please note that we will not be able to offer technical support for any issues that may arise during the exam.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Allow access to <a href=\"https:\/\/support.respondus.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/4409604275867-Accessing-external-web-domains-in-LockDown-Browser\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">specific external web domains<\/a>. This could include access to OER resources.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0 Please adhere to the specified instructions. They might run into issues while writing the exam. Please ensure that all students have the current lockdown browser<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start the Lockdown Browser, click the &#8220;I&#8221; button (Windows) or &#8220;About&#8221; button (Mac) in the lockdown browser toolbar.<\/li>\n<li>Depending upon the edition, the student can select &#8220;Check for Update&#8221; or &#8220;Check for Newer Version&#8221; to start the update process.<br \/><hr \/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h1>Reviewing and requesting LockDown Browser recorded videos<\/h1>\n<p>If students were required to utilize the webcam feature (Respondus Monitor) during the quiz, instructors can access relevant information pertaining to the quiz sessions and review the recorded videos. As an instructor, you can review and request video recordings for both the student\u2019s webcam and screen, depending on the exam settings.<\/p>\n<p>Monitor is intended to be a deterrent, so it\u2019s up to the instructor to determine the level of review warranted.<\/p>\n<h2>Steps to review and request student recorded videos<\/h2>\n<p>1. A roster of the students in the course is shown, along with the date, time, duration, review priority, and grade (if available) for the quiz. Click [ + ] to expand the section for a student. you will see thumbnails showing the startup sequence and exam session.<\/p>\n<p>5. Click a thumbnail to view the video from that time. After watching the video, you can mark it as reviewed or leave comments.<\/p>\n<p>6. At this point, you can Scroll to the bottom of the page, and if available, click Request Video Download. After approval, the Request Video Download link will change to Download Video. Click this link to download the video.
