{"id":23567,"date":"2023-07-26T09:04:05","date_gmt":"2023-07-26T13:04:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ltsadev.sheridanc.on.ca\/apps\/wordpress\/learning-and-technology-portal\/?p=23567"},"modified":"2023-07-26T09:04:05","modified_gmt":"2023-07-26T13:04:05","slug":"adding-and-editing-pages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/digital-learning-support-hub\/adding-and-editing-pages\/","title":{"rendered":"Adding and Editing Pages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Adding Pages to a Presentation:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>On the&nbsp;<strong>Content \/ Layout&nbsp;<\/strong>tab select the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/learning-technology-portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/07\/New-Page.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6756\" src=\"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/learning-technology-portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/07\/New-Page.png\" alt=\"New Page \" width=\"20\" height=\"25\"><\/a>&nbsp;icon.<\/li>\n<li>A pop-up window will appear. &nbsp;Under the Page Name heading enter a title for the new page.<\/li>\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Editing Pages:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Click on the drop-down arrow beside the page you want to edit.<\/li>\n<li>From the drop-down menu select&nbsp;<strong>Page Properties.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>A pop-up window will appear with several options:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Change the Page Name:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the page name heading enter a new title for the page and click <strong>Save.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Hide the Page Name:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Check the box under <strong>Hide Name<\/strong> and click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>This will hide the page name from appearing at the top of the page in the presentation. &nbsp;The page name will still appear in the navigation panel. &nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-6762 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/learning-technology-portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/07\/Presentationcomponents.png\" alt=\"Presentationcomponents\" width=\"365\" height=\"269\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Hide the Page:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">Check the box under&nbsp;<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">Hide Page<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">&nbsp;and click&nbsp;<\/span><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">Save<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li>The page will not appear in the navigation panel of a presentation. You can still create a link to the page in your presentation by copying thepage link and adding it to another page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>Page Link:<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Copy the link and click&nbsp;<strong>Save.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>This URL is a direct link to the page. &nbsp;You can add it to other pages in the presentation to create custom navigation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Reordering Pages<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>On the Content \/ Layout Tab, under the Pages heading, select the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/learning-technology-portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/07\/Reorder-icon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6766\" src=\"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/learning-technology-portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2014\/07\/Reorder-icon.jpg\" alt=\"Reorder icon\" width=\"23\" height=\"22\"><\/a>&nbsp;icon.<\/li>\n<li>Reorder the pages by select a different number under the <b>Sort Order<\/b> heading.<\/li>\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Adding Pages to a Presentation: On the&nbsp;Content \/ Layout&nbsp;tab select the&nbsp;&nbsp;icon.
