{"id":22964,"date":"2023-07-19T16:29:49","date_gmt":"2023-07-19T16:29:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ltsadev.sheridanc.on.ca\/apps\/wordpress\/learning-and-technology-portal\/?p=22964"},"modified":"2026-08-27T13:24:09","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T13:24:09","slug":"import-course-components","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ltsa.sheridancollege.ca\/digital-learning-support-hub\/import-course-components\/","title":{"rendered":"Import Course Components"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>On the course navbar click <strong>Course Admin.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>From the Course Administration page click\u00a0 <strong> Import \/ Export \/ Copy Components.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Import Components<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Choose File.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Locate the file on your local computer.<\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Open\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Click\u00a0<strong>Start<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The system will preprocess the file. \u00a0Once complete you will see two green checkmarks. \u00a0Click\u00a0<strong>Continue.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>On the Select Course Materials, screen choose whether or not you want the\u00a0imported content to overwrite existing files.<\/li>\n<li>Under the Select Components to Import heading either\u00a0<strong>Select All Components<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>or\u00a0place a checkmark beside the components you want to import.<\/li>\n<li>The system will import the select components. \u00a0When the green checkmarks appear click\u00a0<strong>Continue.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>This will take you to the Import Summary page where you will be notified that the course import was successful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the course navbar click Course Admin.
